I have worked in E-Learning for over 6 years, and in IT and computing for over 8 years. I began my career at the freelance, as a programmer before moving up to a Trainer and supervisor of projects at Bayt Al-Manhal Cultural Center, involved in building some project like (messaging system, help-desk system) and providing help desk support. Then I moved on to work as an E-learning Administrator for University of Jordan Campus, where I continue to hold this position until now.
I have managed multiple E-Learning projects throughout my wide career, including upgrade Moodle 1.9 to Moodle 3.6, involved establishing a blended learning project, managing technical side at a blended learning project, creating new undergraduate online courses, managing virtual learning environments, creating e-learning content, and Moodle training.I frequently identify and assess relevant learning technologies to extend and support teaching and learning, and plan and manage the integration of such technologies into teaching practice. I have regularly, throughout my career, designed and implemented a range of training, including student and teacher training.
Research
Presently, I am a studying for a master student at the Computer Information Systems department at the university of Jordan. I am interested in identifying learning styles such as e-learning, blended learning, flipped learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, mobile learning, adaptive learning, personalized learning, educational data mining and learning analytics.
My these aims at developing a new model for personalized learning style identification using data mining and machine intelligence. The aim is to develop an system that can learn from student’s behavior and recommend an adaptive strategy that takes into account their different learning styles.
